50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2018 Volunteer Form

To volunteer for this event, individuals must be:

  • Bike Builders: 16+ without adult, 12+ with adult
  • All other roles: 14+ without adult, 10+ with adult

There are no drop-in volunteer opportunities at this event. All individuals and groups must be confirmed by event organizers prior to event day. If you have registered and not received confirmation on your role and responsibilities, contact Abbey Stumpf at abbey@nntma.org.

Assist bike building teams throughout the assembly process. Knowledge in bike mechanics is necessary. Lunch included. - 7 hour time commitment
Assist bike recipients with the assembly of their bicycles, act as a mentor, and ensure safety at all times. Knowledge in bike mechanics is helpful but not necessary, we will train you! - 2 1/2 hour time commitment.
I have a team of 2-3 ready to go.
     Team member names:
Orient bike recipients and bike builders before and after their bike build. This is will include distributing t-shirts, providing helmet fittings, taking pictures, and more. Volunteers will be trained. - 4 1/2 hour time commitment.
Assist with set-up, clean-up and other varied tasks. - Varied time commitments.
Assist with outdoor skills course for bike recipients. Knowledge and comfort in bike riding necessary. Lunch included. - 6 hour time commitment
Take photos of participants throughout the various stages of the events. Must provide own camera.
