May is Bike Month in North Natomas


May is Bike Month has reached a critical mass in the Sacramento Region and we are proud to say that North Natomas has been a leader in helping us all become more bike-conscious, tallying a whopping total of 149,878 miles out of the 1,987,030 logged for the region in 2014.

Log your miles Register at MayisBikeMonth.com.

Share your ride We want to see all your bike adventures throughout the month, from selfies to bike pics. Share them with #ibikeNN.

Sock Giveaway Register for the Commuter Club and get riding. Members who log bike miles will be automatically entered into a weekly sock drawing.

Capitol BikeFest May 14th Join riders at 10 am departing from the NNTMA office for the Capitol BikeFest downtown. Visit the bike booths, eat popsicles and meet new bike buddies at this fun celebration.

Family Park Ride May 3rd Grab your family and a picnic lunch for a Sunday bike cruise with fellow North Natomas families. Meet up for a kid friendly 4 mile ride starting at The Club at Natomas Park, and ending with a picnic and playtime at the North Natomas Regional Park. NNTMA will provide snacks, but families should pack their own lunch. Meet at 10:30 a.m. and depart at 11 a.m.

Bike to Work Day May 21st The NNTMA will host a bicycle breakfast stop from 6-9 am at the east entrance of Sleep Train Arena & Truxel Rd.

Bike Clinic May 12th Brush up on your bike skills at a FREE Bike Clinic at the NNTMA office from 6-7:30 pm.

Bike Month at School Students and teachers are encouraged to participate in May is Bike Month at their school by completing weekly logs tracking their bike trips.

Chamber of Commerce Mixer Mix business with biking at the Natomas Chamber of Commerce Mixer on Thursday, May 28th. This bike-inspired event encourages you to mingle with the Natomas business community. Members are FREE and non-members are $10.00. The NNTMA will host from 5:30-7:30 pm.
