May is Bike Month in North Natomas

May is Bike Month is a time to ride to work, school and hit the trails on the weekends. The North Natomas area is a leader in promoting alternative ways to get around which is good for the environment and good for you! North Natomas residents and employees road more than 60,000 miles last year.

Here's how YOU can get involved:

Log your miles: Register at

Bike Doc: FREE bike repair and tune-ups on a first-come, first-served basis. Check out the complete schedule.

Bike Month at School: Students and teachers log weekly trips to win prizes and compete. May is Bike Month at their school.

Sock Giveaway: Register for the Commuter Club and get riding. Members who log bike miles will be automatically entered into a weekly sock drawing.

Share your ride: We want to see all your bike adventures throughout the month, from selfies to bike pics. Share them with #ibikeNN.

May 7th Know Your Bike Trail Celebration: Come out to explore the 4-mile trail through North Natomas. Learn more here.

Capitol BikeFest May 11th Check out Capitol BikeFest downtown. Visit the bike booths, eat popsicles and meet new bike buddies at this fun celebration.

Bike to Work Day May 19th: Free breakfast stop for cyclists from 6 - 9 a.m. at the East Entrance of Sleep Train Arena on Truxel Road.

Shop, Bike, Dine May 20th: Ride your bike to Bella Bru on Natomas Boulevard and utilize the FREE bike valet. Get a free coffee or pastry from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
