Rides 2012
The North Natomas TMA is proud to present our upcoming neighborhood bike ride schedule. Join us during these rides throughout the spring and summer for sunshine, biking, and great company. All rides depart from the North Natomas TMA office at 1960 Del Paso Road at 8:30am, and include refreshments provided by NNTMA. Always bring water, a helmet, and an extra bike tube. No need to RSVP – just show up!
May 19 – Capitol Park - 21 miles
The 2012 season kickoff ride is a wonderful trip through North and South Natomas and onward towards downtown. This pleasurable jaunt includes three bridges (I-80 Bike/Ped, R Street, and C Street Bridges), a view of Capitol Park, and a stop at New Roma Bakery before returning home via the Ueda Bike Trail.
June 16 – Gibson Ranch - 24 miles
Saddle up for a serendipitous route to Elverta’s Gibson Ranch via downtown Rio Linda, Dry Creek Bike Trail, and Cherry Island Park. Be sure to pack your appetite for refreshments at the park.
September 8 – Around the Airport - 20 miles
Another cruise around the airport, with additional mileage to take in more of what this route has to offer. Join us for the exhilaration of landing jets, a survey of the completed river levee work, and the beauty of the Sacramento River and Garden Highway views. Refreshments provided by NNTMA at the mid-way point, the Elkhorn Park and Boat Launch.
