May 1 – Know Your Spine Open Trail Event—2-4pm 

Come out to explore the newly completed 4-mile trail that runs north-south from Elkhorn Boulevard to Airport Road. Hosted stations will be set up along the trail with music, prizes, and refreshments. Complete the Passport-to-Fun by visiting all the booths for a special prize. This is not and organized ride.  Details at NNTMA.org/KnowYourSpine.

May 12 – Capitol BikeFest – 21 miles

Join riders departing from the NNTMA office at 10:30 am for the Capitol BikeFest downtown. It’s fun to visit the bike booths, eat popsicles and meet new bike buddies.

May 20 – Bike to Work/Errands/Pleasure Day

The NNTMA will host a bicycle breakfast stop from 6-9 a.m. at the East Entrance of Sleep Train Arena on Truxel Road. Stop by as you commute to work or if you’re just out for leisure.

June 11 – East Sac & Sac State Ride – 24 miles

We’ll head southwest via the American River Bike Trail and venture over the Guy West Bridge through Sac State.  We will pass by Hornet Stadium (Go Hornets!) and out the west entrance onto Elvas Ave, then head west through the Fab 40’s, past McKinley Park, by Blue Diamond Almond Growers and back north, via the Ueda Bike Trail.  We’ll stop by Panera Bread along the American River Bike Trail for treats on us. Ride departs from the North Natomas TMA office at 1918 Del Paso Road at 8:30am.

September 10 – Parks Ride – 24 miles

We don't call Sacramento the City of Trees for nothing! Let's roll through the Capital's groves and our city's major parks including Discovery Park and Miller Park, then onward into William Land Park. After a delicious stop at Marie’s Donuts, we'll pass by Blue Diamond Almond Growers and ride over the C Street Bridge. Ride departs from the North Natomas TMA office at 1918 Del Paso Road at 8:30am.

September 16-18 – Emigrant Trails Bike Trek

The Emigrant Trails Bike Trek is a three-day cycling event that raises funds to support clean air, healthy lungs, and a tobacco-free tomorrow. The ETBT, staging out of the Napa County Fairgrounds in Calistoga, is not a race and accommodates cyclists of various levels. Register today at www.sacbreathe.org/etbt.

September 24 – Family Bike Ride

Grab your family for a Saturday bike cruise with fellow bike-loving families. Meet up for a kid-friendly, 4-mile ride starting at the North Natomas Regional Park playground for a kid-friendly 4-mile ride visiting several parks before returning back to the start. Group departs at 10:30 a.m.
