A/C Malfunctions
Throughout the summer, Sacramento Regional Transit big buses and smaller “neighborhood shuttles” will be used, instead of our regular Flyer Shuttles. This will continue for any afternoonthat temperatures are forecasted to reach 100 degrees or higher. Replacement bus usage will be determined by 12 p.m. the day prior.
BE ALERT and look for your route displayed on approaching buses while waiting at your stop.

Spare the Air
High temperatures can contribute to an unhealthy air quality, but that isn't the only factor that triggers a Spare the Air Day. Spare the Air Days are announced when the AQI for ground-level ozone pollution is forecast to reach 126 or above.
Sign up for Spare the Air Alerts and ride the Flyer Shuttle for free when a Spare the Air Day is announced. Spare the Air Days are determined by 1 p.m. the day prior.
