Please do not plan on purchasing more items than you can carry to and from the shuttle stops. The driver will not be able to assist riders with packages to their homes.
Safety – All passengers must be seated and wearing a safety belt when the vehicle is moving. Please remain seated until the shuttle comes to a complete stop. No rider may interfere with the driver's ability to drive the shuttle safely, which includes disruptive behavior and language. For safety reasons, the driver is the sole authority on where the shuttle picks up and drops off passengers along the route, which may change according to traffic and weather conditions.
Riders may bring lidded drinks on the shuttle. Any rude behavior or foul language that disturbs other riders will not be tolerated. If a rider does not respect a driver's request to stop the offending behavior, the driver has the authority to stop the shuttle and demand that the rider disembark immediately (driver will stop at nearest safe location), and the rider may be denied service in the future. Newspapers are provided as a courtesy for reading on the shuttle. Please fold and leave the newspapers neatly on the shuttle for other riders.
Each shuttle is equipped with a wheelchair lift and space for one wheelchair. The drivers are employed by Paratransit and are well trained to handle wheelchairs. The Flyer does not provide door to door service: if a rider cannot meet the shuttle at the stop, he or she should contact Paratransit at 916-429-2009 for more specialized service.
