50 Bikes for 50 Kids

Build a Better Future!

50 Bikes for 50 Kids is a community service event held on Martin Luther King Jr Day, a National Day of Service, that matches teams of volunteers with well-deserving kids to assemble 50 new quality bikes. Kids in 5th - 12th grades are nominated by local organizations for demonstrating traits such as respect, responsibility and citizenship. After nominations are reviewed, 50 youth are selected to help build and receive a new bike during a highly energized daylong event. The kids and volunteers experience firsthand the rewards of teamwork, volunteerism, and a sense of community.

How to Get Involved

Sponsor: Help play a role in changing kids' lives! Your support of this inspiring event will get the wheels turning for our children, our volunteers, and our community.

Volunteer: From set up and clean up to bike building and photography; there are opportunities available for anyone. You don't need to be a bike mechanic to volunteer, we'll train you! We welcome anyone who has a desire to give back to the community and to our local youth.
