Build a Better Future!

50 Bikes for 50 Kids is centered on rewarding the excellent young individuals found in our community while encouraging the community to learn more about bicycles. This event demonstrates the strength of a unified community, from the 232 volunteers who donated 914 hours of their time to the scores of businesses who sponsored the event.

A HUGE thank you to The Natomas Bike Shop and Specialized Bicycles, our two major sponsors.

This year's 4th annual 50 Bikes for 50 Kids was held on Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Natomas Middle School and paired 50 young recipients with teams of volunteers - and a brand new bike in need of assembling. Each recipient was also given a helmet, lock and hands-on bike training at the event. The bikes are awarded to youth who are nominated and chosen based on their demonstration of character traits, such as honesty, respect and responsibility.

Sponsors are already pitching in for 2017. Sponsor a bike today for next year's event.
